The question is not what you look at, but what you see. — Henry David Thoureau

About

More information than you ever want to know about me is written here. Many of the photos featured here are also available for purchase via my Imagekind site.

In this particular incarnation of my internet persona, I wish to focus very specifically on one photograph at a time. This is, in part, intended to force me to slow down and really see, really take my time. Quality over quantity, minutiae over bulk, detail over generalities. I wish to spend more time on an individual shot – framing it, lighting it, naming it, comprehending it, enjoying it.

Creating art rather than simply capturing a moment.
